Tyrone Mateos
Tyrone Mateos has performed as a soloist, an accompanist, and a collaborating artist in various concerts and recitals at the Abelardo Hall, the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu, the Gerry Roxas Convention Center in Capiz, the Philamlife Theater, the Tanghalang Leandro Locsin, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines among others. He has been featured in notable concert series such as Camerata dell’Arte Foundation’s Young Filipino Artists Festival 2000, Bravissimo Grappa, and the Concerts at the Old Walls sponsored by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts. He was one of the 60 participants in the first Elements Songwriting Camp in 2010 and was a runner-up in the 2008 ASEAN Anthem Writing Competition. He has also done session work for various performing groups such as the Manila Symphony Orchestra and Manila Philharmonic Orchestra in both classical and pop performances. He has also played in notable musical theater productions at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Newport World Resorts, at the Theatre at Solaire, and at the Maybank Theater in BGC. Currently, he is a full-time faculty and Academic Adviser at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Music Production Program.
