Leilani Gay Orbe-Rilloma is on her 28th year of piano teaching journey. She finished her Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 1992 at the Adventist University of the Philippines in Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite. She taught piano right after graduation and was invited to teach at Northern Luzon Adventist College as high school and college music instructor, where she also served as college music coordinator/head from 2008-2013. While there, she also conducted different choirs from elementary to faculty. 

She was a full scholar recipient of the Southern Asia- Pacific Division for her Master's degree in Music Education which she finished in 2013, graduating as Magna Cum Laude.

Teacher Lani, as she is fondly called by her students and their parents, loves children as she connects with them naturally. She teaches kids from ages 3 to 18 years old today and holds her own music studio successfully in Silang and goes to Pasay twice a week to cater to students coming from Caloocan, Malabon and Ilocos Norte.

She started her Suzuki training in 1995 and under the tutelage of Professor Carmencita G. Arambulo. She currently is a board member of the Philippine Suzuki Association and a certified teacher of the Asia Region Suzuki Association. She is also active in the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines Foundation, the Philippine Society of Music Education and the Kodaly Society of the Philippines.
