Back in May 2000, John Jerry Ginon studied Suzuki violin under Tchr. Ariel Arambulo for 9 years. As a student and a teacher, he participated and performed in various Suzuki events like Philippine National Suzuki Camps, International Suzuki Conferences, and Conventions held around Asia and Europe. He took masterclasses from Suzuki teachers like Mr. Yasuki Nakamura, Mr. Kyung Ik-Hwang, and world-class performer Takako Nishizaki. He attended various professional development programs under
Mr. Kyung Ik-Hwang, Mr. Mark Mutter, Dr. Lan Ku Chen, Mr. Martin Ruttiman, and Mr. Christophe Bossuat.

Among his notable solo performances were the Opening Concert of the 2007 Asia Suzuki Conference, the Senior Concert of the 2006 International Suzuki Convention held in Turin, Italy, and the Four Seasons Chamber Orchestra with the late Maestro Ruggero Barbieri at St. Paul University Manila’s Fleur-de-Lis Auditorium back in November 2006. He was also selected as a member of the 2011 ASEAN-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra as part of the first violin section as they trained and performed in Bali, Indonesia. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Music in Violin from St. Paul University Manila and is a certified ARSA teacher. He has been teaching violin since 2006 up to the present.
