Gigi Gomez-Arambulo is a graduate of the Philippine High School for the Arts in Mt. Makiling, Laguna. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the UP College of Music, under the tutelage of Prof. Avelina M. Manalo. In UP, she also took up Master’s in Piano Performance under Prof. Nita A. Quinto.

In between her pre-teen and College years she joined several piano competitions and won some prizes including 1st prize in Category A and 2nd prize in Category B of the National Music Competitions for Young Artists.

A few years after college, she had the privilege of being an orchestra pianist in four sessions of the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, which did concert tours in Asia and Europe.

A recipient of an Italian government grant, she took further studies in Piano Performance at the Accademia Internazionale delle Arti in Rome under Prof. Franco Medori.

As a Suzuki teacher, Gigi has attended conferences in Asia, USA, and Australia. She has also been part of the piano faculty in Suzuki conferences in Taiwan (2004) and the Philippines (2018).
