Catherine Cheng holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UP College of Music as well as a Master of Music in Music Education with Kodály Emphasis from Holy Names University, California. She also completed a Diploma in Kodály Music Education in 2017 from the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary. She is a graduate of The San Francisco International Orff Courses (2014, 2015, 2018) where she has trained under the internationally acclaimed Orff teachers Doug Goodkin, Sofia Lopez-Ibor, James Harding, Rick Layton, Paul Cribari, Christa Coogan and Estevao Marques. She has taught music to students in various grade levels but currently teaches Kindergarten and first-grade students at Immaculate Conception Academy, Greenhills.
